This was my first time coming to this restaurant and the place looked amazing. Warm lighting and casual atmosphere. It was super calming, not loud and everyone looked so nice. We were immediately greeted by everyone. Everyone was super nice and very welcoming. I went with a party of 7 for my birthday. We got served and waited on mostly by Jenna. She was the most sweetest and most attentive person ever. Definitely made my birthday. I dropped the ball and didn't take pics of a lot of stuff but ima name everything we ate because let me tell you!!! Everything was soooo good!! Including all the dam drinks. For drinks we had one called illicit affair, housewife behavior, martini expresso, smell the fucken roses, attitude adjustment. Those were really good, only thing is the housewife behavior is very floral so it's definitely for an acquired taste. Very good but flowery. We got a few appetizers, we got the meatballs, the gnocchi, and the jamachi crudo. Everything was effin delicious. The crudo is raw fish and I personally hate raw fish but the seasoning and the "juice/sauce/something" that was added made it sooo delicious. we also got the surf and turf, salmon, filet mignon and the sides we got were mash potatoes, Brussels sprouts, asparagus. Omg the sides were the best ever. I heard the Mac and cheese is also bomb so maybe next time but it was such an incredible experience flavor wise. Btw the Brussels sprouts have BACON!!! such a yummy flavor!! To end the night we got desserts. We got the chocolate cake which came with a scoop of ice cream and we got the vanilla torte with caramel I think that's what it was but whatever it was it was soo delicious. It had this caramel sauce and this crispy and buttery bread thingy lol all I know is that it was great. Again guys I dropped the ball and didn't take pics but it was amazing. Again thank you Jenna you were the best ever!!! It was so much fun. The most exciting thing for me was getting the menu that had my name on it lol it said Happy Fukn Birthday Patssy hahah I love it. Edit: it's pricey guys but worth it. You're gonna love the memories you make if you go with good peoples cuz the food and drinks and just the place it self has such good vibes . Be ready to drop a few hundred dollars.
I forgot about the bacon!!! We are supposed to have bacon with the brunch?right? Besides that, this time around was great! It was my gfs birthday and her first time along with some friends first time! They loved the starter martini and beignets !! There aren't many restaurants they serve the way maple does, so it's always a delight coming for celebrations! Day, our server was the sweetest and always checked in on us. She also made sure we were good until the last second we sat down. The food and drinks were great as always, we got the brunch. We needed up also splitting the chicken tower. I personally enjoyed the lobster scramble. I was expecting a little bit more for the all you can eat portion. I thought we got more than just the beignets and bread. I specifically remember having bacon the last time I was there, and something else, like a vegetable. But maybe they change the menu since January.
Husband and I went for our second anniversary! We thought we were so lucky to get a reservation on Open Table hours before our actual reservation. The atmosphere is dark, lit by candelabras, some overhead lighting that shifts with the mood, but the sound level was loud which took us by surprise. Music plays loudly, but then people are talking over the music to be heard so if you're looking for a quiet spot, this isn't it unless they seat you in a random far off corner of the restaurant. We were greeted warmly by our server with a complimentary cocktail (prickly pear martini) which was delicious. We then had an amuse bouche of what was like chips and dip with what looked like caviar sprinkled on top. Dinner we had the Chilean sea bass and lamb chops with sides of Mac and cheese and creamed corn. The sides were suuuuper rich tasting so we didn't finish them, we ended up taking them home. We did not do dessert, extra cocktails or any other items. Took a minute for our check to come and our total was around $240 for the evening with tip.
If you are celebrating anything, this is the place to go!!! They do lots of little extras to make you feel so special and even give you your own special menu with your name on it. The food and cocktails are beyond good and I've never had a bad server. This was the first time we went for brunch and it did not disappoint!!!! So many yummy items to choose from!!!!!
Party of 4 - Jordan Year Anniversary Dinner We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Maple & Ash and had a fantastic experience. I made 5:30PM reservations in advance and we arrived on time and was seated immediately. This place is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Every single dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I made 5:30PM reservation in advance. We arrived on time and seated immediately. Our waiter Joseph was attentive, knowledgeable friendly and overall amazing. We were fortunate enough to meet and speak with Chef Robert, who was so nice. 10/10...We'll definitely be back!
Maple & Ash Scottsdale was absolutely everything I wanted in a birthday dinner. We loved every appetizer, entree, side and drink! The customer service was amazing, the table side cocktail service was great and the celebratory additions were such a nice touch. 10/10, highly recommend! I have zero interior design footage - too busy vibing. Thanks Maple & Ash for an amazing dining experience. What we ordered: Grilled Branzino Surf & Turf Dry-Aged Ribeye Bubbling Potato Au Gratin Mac & Cheese Black Truffle Loaded Potato Dry-Aged Meatballs Wedge Salad Sea Bass (I think that's all.....maybe lol) I think I want to visit every location just to cross it off my list. I'm in love! Beautiful restaurants do it for me every time. (When I say "beautiful" I mean, perfect.)
If you're trying to celebrate or impress then Maple and Ash is a no brainer. It's not your parent's steakhouse, that's for sure, it's a way sexier version. The art, the candelabras, and dark walls all contribute to the dark and sexy vibe. Our server, Michael (#wutangforever) was phenomenal even on a busy Friday night. We ordered the IDGAF which included an amuse bouche oyster that was an outstanding way to start. The fire roasted seafood tower followed and was bananas, Michael came back with some pasta to stir into the chili butter when we were about halfway through. We also received the hamachi crudo and Caesar salad apps, honestly we could have stopped there lol. When entrees were served we had the ribeye, ricotta agnolotti in a brown butter truffle sauce, and the whole roasted branzino as well as two sides. I was so glad they asked our preferences for sides, since my boyfriend doesn't enjoy mashed potatoes or Mac n cheese. The Brussels sprouts and corn were perfect. To finish the meal we were served a build your own sundae with a variety of ice cream flavors and more toppings than you could ever use. 10/10 recommend - I'll say it's probably a top 5 lifetime meal. Shut up and take my money anytime M&A.
Disappointed to see the brunch had become al a carte. Takes the fun out of simply showing up and enjoying brunch. As you look at the menu closely, it appears to be a price play paying more for less. The food, ambiance and service is still top shelf. Just sad to see another classic get lost. Will still come back, but probably longer intervals between visits. Would have given 3.5 stars if I could as 4 is a bit generous. My past reviews were 5 stars. And a separate nuisance charge of "Employee Benefits"? Come on. All of that should be part of the food costs.
This is the first Tratto I've been to. I got off the plane and called to make an appointment and went straight there, still had a small 20 minute wait when I got there. Mainly one dish. The duck liver was perfectly flamed and handled with a very clean flavour that could hang on to beat a bunch of American restaurants I've eaten at now. The main accompaniment was a piece of deeply crispy toasted bread, sauce, blueberries, and garlic. It's very nice to imagine how refreshing a piece of bread soaking up grease would be with duck liver and garlic. The blueberries were good to eat later to relieve the grease. The fermented acidity of the sauce was more pronounced, and I can't recall exactly what it was, but I remember it being rather heavy, but once it blended with the fat of the duck liver, it felt very harmonious. The pasta was quite tasty, but the ribeye was quite impressive, perfectly cooked and caramelised. The level of cooking is arguably in the t1 queue at the moment! Then Maple&Ash had a brunch, specifically an entree and the rest were sides, a bit of a bundle. I don't need to order them to help you arrange, seafood is also the same reason. Other, drink something too much, half directly drink support, can not drink juice three or four optional, but each juice is very sweet. However, the food is actually quite good, according to the American brunch standards should be more top-notch production. The bread is also freshly baked and delicious. But I really can't think of too many things, nothing amazing
We visit about a year ago for my birthday. The ambiance is amazing with the real candle lighting at the tables, the waiters are kind-- not snobby like most high end restaurants, and the food was perfect. You can easily spend $400 in a couple of cocktails, entrees and a dessert. We will be back!
